Rani Mukherji, after playing an angel in Kunal Kohli’s Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic, is all set to play a cricketer in Yash Chopra’s next film.

She’s paired for the first time opposite Shahid Kapoor and said with her throaty laugh, “I don’t know if any actress has played a cricketer before, but I’ve been learning cricket on the field for the past two months. I can play the game convincingly now, though not as good as the professionals yet, but I’m glad to be doing work which challenges.” So is she equipped to join the IPL next season? “I don’t know about that! But I’m definitely enjoying cricket. My practical sessions are on full swing.”

It’s seldom that actors express whom they would like to work with for fear of offending their other colleagues.

But Aryaman Ramsay is quite clear about his favorites. The actor, who is currently completing the post-production work on his next film, Goodluck, claims that he loves watching Rani Mukerji’s films.

Titan Industries expects Raga, the women's brand, to fetch Rs 150 crore turnover by the end of this financial year. The company intends to accessorise the brand to tap the trend amongst women to buy multiple watches.

Do you think the National Awards this year have been fair?

Oh yes. It all depends on the individual jury member’s discretion and then there’s a collective opinion taken on films. I’m very happy for Amitji. He deserves the National award for Black. But along with Amitji, I’d have liked Rani to win a National Award also.
